First Nations Cultural Safety Training Cohort Series

A four part training series for businesses and individuals to help better understand working with First Nations peoples. Each training session focuses on a different aspect of history, cultural and work place dynamics.

The first training focuses primarily focuses on the culture and history of the Sto:lo people in the Fraser Valley, BC, Canada.

The second training is more about historical impacts of colonial history on First Nations people with a Sto:lo Cultural lense.

The third training is a dive into how best to create cultural safety and dispelling stereotypes of First Nations people.

The fourth training is presented as a circle from Sto:lo Elders to support the knowledge learned in the prior sessions.
